After months of searching both online and at home improvement and lighting stores, I was referred to Southside by a family member who had just completed purchasing all lighting for a home renovation. Their extensive selection was on trend with top quality and designs. As a professional lighting designer, Melissa understands both architecture and design trends and directed me to multiple options to consider to update our home. In 2020, first impressions are very important, they failed in that as I was not even allowed to go into the store. Having a lighting store being only open to appointments is flat out ridiculous. This isn't the doctors office, its just lamps and lights. I get it COVID is a thing but this is going overboard. I have a very quickly-changing life schedule as I'm sure many people do. I can barely stick to an appointment for a haircut at this point and I'm expected to do that for some lights? Not a chance. I don't need a consultation or someone to look over my shoulder so I can view what you have in stock. I don't need to block out someone else's time when what I want to do is browse to see if what I want is even here. You lost a potential sale today, you lost my future business, you lost my recommendations, and you lost a better rating. So you get nothing. You lose. Good day sirs/madams.

We called Southside Lighting on 9-15-2020 to ask if they had a part that we were looking for to repair a bathroom light fixture They did have the part and we told them we would pick it up Wednesday 9-16-2020. They told us to call when we arrived at the store as they were servicing customers by appointment only due to Covid 19. Upon our arrival we called the store and informed them we were there to pick up our part. In a very short time a representative came out a gave us 2 of our parts in case we had a problem. When we tried to pay for the parts they did not accept any payment. We were so pleasantly surprised and have placed Southside Lighting Gallery on our go to list whenever we need lighting fixtures or parts. This is definitely a 5 Star organization. Thank you for your Service. We will return and also recommend your company to others.
