Great little shop. Had an issue with my DCC system and programming. They got it all straightened out for me and both of my engines running as they should. Bought a couple things while we were there. Never charged me for the programming issue. Great to talk with and shoot the bull also. Will definitely be coming back.

I look for excuses to stop by South Side Trains. I'm building my first layout, and find myself coming with questions, needs for one more bottle of paint, or needing someone to fix something I can't. Great--really great--service, advice, conversation about specific train issues (when the place isn't the gathering spot for a gaggle of train nuts like me), excellent prices...and I always find some treasure in the used stuff. It's my go-to 90% of the time.
