My husband and I LOVE Spanish Schoolhouse. We started sending our son and daughter to this preschool in March and are very happy with our decision. Our children love going to school and I know that a huge part of that has to do with the wonderful and caring teachers there. Every time I drop them off at school, my son and daughter are greeted with smiles and hugs! During the school year I get daily updates and pictures, as well as a report letting me know about their day, (including whether they napped and ate their lunch)! I am also extremely happy with the amount of Spanish that they have learned and have started using at home. I would highly recommend Spanish Schoolhouse to everyone.
This preschool is the perfect match for my family! Their Spanish immersion program includes not only native Spanish but a beautiful insight into the Latin American Culture as well. Their curriculum program is fun and complete, they have a fun interactive handwriting program that my oldest son is also using in his Kindergarten class at RRISD. I feel confident that all of my son's needs are being met and he is growing into smart and happy young boy. My son feels at home at this school because the staff is so loving and friendly. To top it off the rations are low, it really does feel like a family.
Our family loves the Spanish Schoolhouse! Every morning, when I drop off my 3 and 4 year old, they are met at the door by the staff whom literally welcome them with open arms. Every parent knows how hard it is to leave when your child has separation anxiety, but I seriously feel like the teachers love our kids like family. Even on the most difficult of mornings, my daughter and son are quickly comforted and I don't feel guilty leaving because I know that they will be happy as soon as they see their teachers and friends. The teachers and administrators always keep us in the loop with \Hi Mama\ virtual reports throughout the day and my kids are always engaged in activities, and look excited to be learning. The facility is always very clean despite the fact that they are constantly working with paint, glue, water and playdough. Which brings me to my next point; as a student of developmental child psychology, the curriculum actually delivers on what it promises. The kids fine and gross motor skills are being developed, they are actually learning a second language and most importantly, they are learning how to be caring human beings. I'm so thankful for such a structured, supportive and individualized environment. I can't say enough good about the Spanish Schoolhouse!
Our 3.5 yo son never complains that he does not want to go to school! The facility is clean- no dirty diaper smell here :) Teachers and staff show genuine care and interest in our son. The Spanish immersion is one reason we have him here, and although he understands Spanish, until going here, he did not speak it. He now sings the 'clean up' song and is peppering his sentences with words here and there. The crafts are fun and imaginative. There is a lot of learning...he can write his full name. We wholly recommend this location.
