I got several quotes to upgrade the electrical service on one of my rental homes in Stanhope NJ. Live Wires quote was in the middle. What I liked about their quote was the detail of what I was getting for my money. All the other quotes just stated \Upgrade service to 200 amps\, with a price. Live wires listed the brand of panel including how many circuits, right down to the grounding system. They also submitted the permit application to the town. They came, did the job as stated on their contract, and were funny and friendly. They treated me like a friend not a customer. Their work was very neat and clean. My friend, who is a union electrician, stated how above and beyond the installation was. They did reschedule me, they didn't show up until 12. At first that made me upset. But after meeting them and seeing the quality of their work, I realized these guys may have off hours, their scheduling may not be the best, but their personalities and quality of work spoke for itself. I totally recommend these guys to anyone that wants the job done right.

Our main breaker was tripping and hot Live Wire txt me back in 10 mins and was at house in 20 mins . They checked and replaced the breaker in no time !!!Great guys great price!!!
I had 3 electricians at my home my realtor recommended that tried to find out why my lights were flickering. None of them could find the issue and all of them charged me for a service call. My neighbor recommended Live Wires so I called them. The owner showed up and was very nice. When I explained how my lights were flickering he knew right away what the issue may be. He checked a few things out and told me it was most likely a bad connection that the utility company was responsible for. When I asked him what I owed him he said nothing welcome to the neighborhood. He said he was only here for less than 30 minuets and would feel bad charging me. So I called JCP&L and they fixed the problem. It was a bad connection. I would recommend Live Wires to everyone. This guy made my day.
I am new to the area. I called several electricians in my area. Live Wires Electric was the only company where the owner himself called me back. When I explained that my outside outlets didn't work, instead of making an appointment, he told me he knows the houses in the area, and walked me through resetting a gfi in my basement. NO CHARGE! That impressed me. I needed other work done and he came and did a great job. Friendly, funny, professional. He treated me more like a friend than a customer.
