I grew up in clay county in a home where I was fostered then later adopted. After a divorce I went to live with my adoptive mom. She blamed the foster kids for her divorce and started beating me and my sister and allowing her many boyfriends to rape us. I was 15 she was 8. I was scared to tell DHS because my school guidance counselor seemed not to believe me. DHS didn't believe me either. When my abuser was investigated, she pulled my hair not to leave bruises and said the rapes would get worse and they did. DHS said they could tell I was not being abused because I would be missing hair and have bald spots. The case worker also refused to look at my bald spots because I actually had them, she was just not interested in prosecuting my abuser because it was an adoptive home and I was removed from my bio home already. I was removed from the home but I was charged for hitting my abuser even though I was just trying to get her to stop choking me. My younger sister was mentally challenged and I am so sure she is being raped and beaten. DHS refuses to investigate her case too. What is wrong with you people?

Your office is a damn joke, nothing but a run around for two weeks on who to contact and no return phone calls! You should all be ashamed of yourselves for making a human have steal to feed themselves. There is a special place in hell for all of you.
