Absolutely blown away by how nice this was done. It was only 6 a ticket per adult! This place is a lot bigger than you think and will take hours to walk, so don't think it'll be a quick in and out. Lots of trains have been restored and you can walk in some of them. There are very informative signs everywhere. There's so much history here you feel like you are being transported in time. They've got it decorated for Christmas too. I highly recommend. We just did the admission but you can train ride as well for an extra 6 I believe. You will not be disappointed, take your family and learn about some NC history!

Great place to visit with kids or if you love trains, cars or other modes of transportation. The museum is huge so plan appropriately

During the winter months, the museum does not provide the train ride during the week. Only on Saturday. All of the exhibits and trains on display we're great. The best part of the entire trip was being able to take a turn on the round table.

Awesome place to visit I just wish we could of went inside of the building but we couldn’t do to Covid or ride on the train. But that’s awesome to see sold old trains including some old steam locomotives. Because they are hard to find because most place now a days are deciles. But there’s so much to see here and learn about. If your a train fan like myself this place won’t let you down plus there’s classic cars and other stuff.

I enjoyed the light show although it should be for free... I missed them not having Polar Express this year... I would have liked to see more lights if they do this in the future.
