I’m so sad to post a poor review, because I used to love shopping here, but unfortunately a number of negative experiences have caused me to never want to return. Prices can be ridiculously high for clothing that looks VERY worn. It makes little sense buying secondhand when I can buy the same jeans brand new at Target for literally a few bucks more. Sometimes even close to the same. Selling is a joke. Clothing in perfectly good condition (no tears, no stains, odors, name brand, some even still with the tags!) is turned away. Most recently they stated it was because the clothing had “pet hair” on it. Alright. I get that. To an extent. We have one medium-large dog. But how many people have dogs? All of the clothing I brought it was washed and folded neatly. Even freshly laundered clothing is going to have a few pieces of animal hair on it. Moreover, the store launders the clothing. You can tell because of the sickening detergent smell when you walk in.. a scent that lingers on any purchased clothing - which is another sticking point for me because both of my boys have very sensitive skin. However, the most appalling by far is the customer service. There are very few places I have ever experienced such horrid treatment as a customer. And for no reason - I am never rude because having 8 years experience in customer service myself, I am ALWAYS friendly and polite. In fact, the hostility in the store made me feel as though expressing the above thoughts in person would be wasting my breath. This place has some serious work to do if it wants to keep customers. New management, better training.. I’m not really sure where the chain is broken, but there is no way for a business to stay successful long term with these business practices.

This place used to be a regular store I chose to not only sell to but shop at. They have changed so much over the past year that it's hard to find good clothing and it has been nothing but a pain and waist of time when selling. If there was another buy and sell kids place I'm not sure I'd still come here. Sad to say but true
Customer service is horrendous, and don't bother trying to sell your items. They make it impossible. I took the same things I brought in up to Other Mothers and they paid me. Over the course of this last year, I started out raving about how fabulous this store was to just flat out upset almost every time I left. I won't be spending money here anymore. It's no wonder the business is up for sale.
Scary place to sell. We took in a bin of kids clothes our son outgrew. They were backed up and told me it's be about 3 days before they give us a quote for what they want. Well we waited and never heard anything for about 5 days and got concerned. Because we hadn't heard from anyone. We called in and they said we needed to come in before they closed otherwise they'd confiscate our bin and all the clothes. They didn't actually say they'd steal our clothing they said they'd \consider it donated\. This place gets 2 stars because you can buy some great prices on kids clothes and things. You just wonder how much of the inventory they stole by not notifying people and just taking their stuff. The idea of this company is sound but at current it seems to be set up to acquire unwitting \donations\ more than serve as a good consignment store. We still shop here but we don't sell here. They almost stole a whole bin of clothes.
