My brother has been going here for a while and I haven't heard anything bad about the school, he has been doing better with his school work and is really taking allot from it, he is doing better with friends and is staying out of trouble, I don't know what other people are posting about, maybe it changes in higher grades but my brother is 12 and there are no issues like what other people are posting about, maybe other poster's aren't fully set on Christianity. GOD BLESS

Valley Christian school... The teachers themselves are good kind people who help you with your work and make sure you pass and get through school. On the other hand they brainwash there kids and parents. The press there beliefs on you and make you follow them even in your private life. Nothing is secret with them. If one person knows everyone knows and thinks they can help. The school punishes you for stuff outside of the campus that should not be taken care of in the school district. All n all the schooling isn't bad but I would not recommend it. The students will be changed not in a good way.

Valley Christian has been an excellent experience for our family. It is a caring community of teachers and staff that educate efficiently while maintaining a Christian perspective. Our experience in the local public school (West Valley School District) was horrific. Truly unbelievable. We weren't looking for private education, but are absolutely delighted to have found Valley Christian. The difference is readily apparent from the first time you visit the school. You owe it to your children to at least tour the facility Reading other posts, I find it odd others have viewed VCS as dogmatic or rigid. Our experience is that they are inclusive of others beliefs and we have met many families that enjoy denominations different than ours that attend a variety of Churches. I know nothing has offended us and have not heard that others have been offended. VCS is currently operating on a 4 day school week. Every Friday is off unless Monday was a holiday. Both my kids are operating above grade level and test well above the public system. This leaves Friday for enrichment and we're currently taking a 3 hour robotics class given by the computer and lab teachers. VCS offers a lot of educational enrichment opportunities. We've been involved in Chess Club, Basketball, Cross Country, Band, Choir, Drama, Spelling Bee, and Public Speaking. This example is only at the elementary level and only what we had time for. While the public system is eliminating programs, VCS is adding them! All while educating better and using one less day. Needless to say, we are appreciative and thankful for such a school to exist.
