Absolutely an awesome place to ride. Finding myself spending more time here. Always finding new trails that I miss. And always going back to my favorite spots.
Had a great family weekend to celebrate my parents 55th with plenty of room to social distance and lots of outdoor activities. Very appreciative to have this peace of Heaven so close to where my family is from. The stars were incredible. Thanks Steve and Kathy!
Family vacation!!! Great place, the owner Steve was incredibly helpful. Brought our dog and hiked the trails, went fishing, caught 2 Bass & 1 big catfish and enjoyed roasting marshmallows over our campfire at night.
The cabin was very clean when we received it, plus the people in charge always made themselves available to us at least twice a day...
Came up for the weekend from Chicago with my family (husband and 2 small children) and our 2 best friends. We stayed in the Patriot Cabin- clean, quaint and everything you want or need in a country cabin. We truly had the best time and no one was ready to leave. Between fishing, cooling off in the swim hole and creek, riding atvs and just being out in nature and unplugging it’s hard to pinpoint our favorite part of the weekend but our one regret was not staying longer! Steve, owner of the lodge was thee most welcoming, friendly and attentive. Can’t say enough positive things about our experience overall. We’re not even home yet and we’ve already locked in our next stay in late July :)
My husband and I were looking for a secluded cabin to bring the kids (2.5yrs & 1yr) and dogs to for a few days and this place was exactly what we had in mind! We spent the majority of our time hiking the many trails and playing on the hills by the pond. The land is beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed. We cannot wait to go back!
I rented two cabins in the fall of 2017 for a family wedding we were attending in the area. The cabins were covered in bugs that worked their way in through the windows. The floors in front of the windows were covered with these and I swept and cleaned them up 3 times a day. Beds were not comfortable, and may be original to the construction of the cabin. Shower hardware was improperly installed and we took cold showers for 2 days before figuring out that everything was hooked up opposite of what it was marked. Towels had to be requested and were similar to what my husband keeps in his shop for car washing. The owner called me after we checked out because he couldn’t find our down payment, which had been paid months in advance. I can’t imagine this experience being much worse for what we paid.
