Went here for lunch on a trip to Houston... The food is cafeteria/buffet style, after you order your meats. As many sides as you like. The ribs, fall off the bone.. Yummy. The sides were \OK\. The bread \AMAZING\. I probably shouldn't be so excited about bread, but it really was yummy! And then there's the sauce! I'm not a BBQ connoisseur, but I know what I like and this I loved. Was sweet, tangy, had just enough kick. I put it on the bread!

Let me start by saying the staff is super nice and attentive. The food LOOKS really good but the flavor is just not there. The banana pudding was good and the rolls are rolled out hot and fresh upon request. Flavored butter would have been great, truly an untapped opportunity. The entree options are standard. The one thing that is notable is that they serve st. Louis ribs. The sides are self served and you're allowed to get as much as you can fit on your plate. I hate to say it but if you have the time, I would suggest driving down the road a few miles for some Killen's bbq. But if you're close to here, and in a rush save some cash and order the chopped beef and baked potatoe combo for 10.
One of my favorite locations for quality BBQ. i love this place, great food & service. the staff was helpful and kind. bring your appetite because portions are large.
First time eating here. Placed an order to go ... Super friendly employees very fast service. Food was hot and tasted amazing. Best brisket sandwich ever. I asked for lean and thats what i got. AWESOME!!! I highly recommend A I think next time i will have to try the banana pudding Thank You !!! I will be back next time im in town.
Our rating is low now, this place has really gone down.... When it first started you had great managers. Not sure if there was a manager for the last 4 months or so. We always have been very happy with everything but around March, everything in this place including the service disappointing.. The one doing the order (a woman) I order slice lean beef plate, she went into the kitchen came back said it will be at least 45 min. before we have that, said its cooked, but we can not slice it. Our time there was like 4:10 PM, that is dinner time. She really acted very mad, did not have a nice look about her. Other employees seem to be upset. WE LEFT as there was not much to choose from on the meat. When we left no one, said sorry, come back -- said nothing.
