The female staff member that "greeted us" was very rude. I have had Vandermill cider before on tap at other restaurants, and have promoted their ciders back when I was a bartender, so I was excited to try it in person, but was shocked by the rude greeting. I understand things are crazy during covid, but if you don't want people inside, just say so on the door to avoid confusion, there is no need to scold customers for coming inside to order when the sign on the door lists that as an option. On the plus side, the cider was good and the outdoor seating was nice. We tried the burger and fries, the fries were great, and the burger was drive-in greasy style, but very tasty and worth a try! The male staff member that took our food order was much friendlier and helpful, so that really helped as well.

The place has been affected by the virus hysteria like many places these days. From older photos it looked like a pretty quaint place to laugh and eat with friends and family. Today however, the sparse seating makes the atmosphere less "food and fun" and more "food and run". The menu is very limited, and prices rather heavy (10-13 for a burger). In the photo submitted, you can see an order of Mexican Street Fries (9). They're seasoned fries with a squirt of some chipotle and aioli, and a fine sprinkle of farmer's cheese. To be fair they were tasty, but worth the 9 price tag? Not really. The ciders are very good, nothing negative to say there. When we walked in the worker who came up asked if we could be helped. I said we would like to be seated. Blank look. Said we would like to get a table. "For food?" he replies. "Yes, for food", I reply. After seeing the sparse menu, and high-priced fare, the wife and I decided to get food elsewhere as we already had ordered drinks. We got the fries as we wanted to have some food with our drinks. In short - come by for some great ciders! This place is doing cider right! As for food, I really hope the virus loosens its grip on this place and it can once again find its place back into the "Food and Fun" category once more.
Having never been there before, we were greeted rather briskly and not what we had hoped for. The lady that waited on us seemed friendlier after I said we had never been there and wanted more info. The website said open for Lunch at 11 but apparently food is not served at that time.
The food was SO good - but what was crazy was how rude the people were that were working. It was my first time there so I was like...well shoot maybe they all three of them are having a bad day? My friend who has been often said it's actually pretty common and that everything else about the place is great. I swear the guy taking my order literally closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to find jesus when I asked if I could add something right when he gave me my total.
Burgers were good! Mexican street fries are not good, certainly not worth the price on them. Easy ordering and to-go process with friendly service.
Great place. Family friendly. Lots of young children when we were here with the grandkids. Very good selection of ciders

Had great thin crust veggie pizza, garlic stix, and chicken quesadilla. Enjoyed the Ginger Zero cider. Sat outside on a lovely evening. Staff was pleasant and cheerful. Can't wait to go back for more cider and to hear live music!
