They provide thorough diagnostic information and lay out a range of options. If you will benefit from a hearing aid as I did, it will be custom programmed exactly to you. Good service and good people.

I feel that if I were elderly and had severe hearing impairment, this would have been a great place for me to go. But being 21 and having issues in my daily life with slight hearing issues, I do not recommend this doctor. His form asked me what I wanted to accomplish through the experience and I didn’t feel like he really cared to accomplish them. He told me I didn’t qualify for hearing aids and to come back in 3 or 4 years. He asked me if I was “good at multitasking” and I said “no not really and I don’t multi-task when I’m on the phone at work... I surely don’t multi-task when I’m asking “what” for the fifth time.. He made me feel like a hypochondriac. Then I get the opinions of my family and friends and they say I should get a second opinion. Because they know how much I say “what” or “huh” several times in a row. So I made a second appointment with someone else and he said a normal hearing test result on a person who is young could be a sign of Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). If you’re young I’d go to another doctor... also I was informed by this place that the normal hearing range was 0-20 but they’ve changed it to 0-15 in the last couple years apparently! So that didn’t help. On a positive note the staff was friendly and the office was clean!

If you are hearing impaired then you know how isolated you can feel when in a crowd or just trying to make polite conversation. Thanks to Mark at Specialized Hearing I now have a better standard of hearing thus a better quality of life. For over 15 years Mark has worked with me to make sure that my hearing is as best it can be making sure that I have the correct hearing aids . Mark keeps up with the latest technology that comes out in hearing aids and he uses that knowledge to help fine tune your hearing aids so that you have the best sounds possible for you. The office staff and Mark have always been kind and respectful to me on every office visit. If I have had any issues over the years with my hearing aids Mark works with me until the hearing aids are adjusted to be comfortable for me. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Mark at Specialized Hearing to any friends or family members that are struggling to hear. Thanks Mark for all the years of dedication in helping people have a better quality of hearing .

Thanks to Mark & the staff at Specialized Hearing for their professionalism, care and respect. With my new Phonak Marvel hearing aids, I am hearing & understanding sounds & voices I haven’t been able to in a while. For the first time, am able to hear my cell phone without it being on speaker. Thanks so much!
