In Angelus Academy, we have found more than just a school. We have found a community of faith and friendship that has enriched our lives on so many levels. Our son has flourished in the joyful, faith-filled environment. Each day in Kindergarten, he is greeted by loving teachers and staff who recognize the unique dignity of every child. The experienced, knowledgeable educators at Angelus understand the natural development of children, meeting students where they are and lovingly challenging them to grow both in virtue and academics. Their approaches to education and pedagogy are thoughtful and wise, based in the morals of Catholic teaching as well as research-based best practices. Namely, they value the development of intellectual curiosity rather than arbitrary, externally imposed standards, and work to cultivate a sense of wonder and awe as students learn about God’s creation. We also have been welcomed into the school community as an entire family; in just a year at the school, we have found the kind of life-long friends that support and accompany us on this journey of parenthood. Angelus Academy has been the answer to a prayer that started the day our oldest was born, a prayer that the Holy Spirit would lead us to a school and a community that would support us as we raise our children according to the truths of the Catholic faith. We could not be more grateful, nor feel any more blessed.

This is a fantastic School! Our son attended k through 8 and the school prepared him to excel in high school and college...he is currently a senior at Ave Maria University. Most importantly it prepared him to love and defend his faith. The faculty are the best and the curriculum is superb.

We absolutely love this school! Our son, who attended grades K through 8, excelled in high school and now attends Ave Maria University. Most importantly, due to Angelus Academy's superb and faithful faculty and curriculum, he is well grounded in his Catholic Faith and I have seen him ably defend the faith on many occasions.

I stumbled across Angelus Academy while visiting NOVA and touring Catholic schools. My husband and I asked for a tour last minute and we were welcomed into Angelus. I’m so glad we did. From the moment you are greeted at Angelus Academy you know the school is special. You can feel the Holy Spirit working in that building. You see the discipline of the children and their eagerness to welcome newcomers. You feel the love of all the faculty and their dedication to the mission. You won’t find faculty who truly care about your child and family as much as the staff at Angelus Academy do. They care deeply about the spiritual formation of the children and it’s shown throughout the curriculum and events. The classical liberal arts curriculum closely matches the liturgical year as more evidence that the formation of the children is a priority. The school puts on family fun nights among other events to form a true community and strengthen our bonds. We’ve been there for 4 years now and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend Angelus Academy.

If you are looking for a phenomenal Catholic school in the northern Virginia area you must come look at Angelus Academy. We were so disappointed with Fairfax County Schools and looking for something better for our children. Things we love about Angelus: our kids and their unique gifts and personalities are valued and cultivated every single day; the kids are KIND and taught to care about others and themselves; the school is faithful to the Magisterium and teaches true Catholic teaching to students; there is not one ounce of \snot factor\ (teachers and staff are kind and welcoming); my kids look forward to school and come home happy; the class size is always under 20 students; the kids are taught how to think critically; Latin and Spanish are taught in the younger grades; prayer is incorporated throughout the day; and Mass is offered once a week by wonderful priests who truly care about our children's souls. Even if you're on the fence about enrolling, I'd suggest checking the school out. It is a special place!
