My father passed a couple years before we needed care for our grandmother. During that time she was taken care of, but had jewelry (at least three pieces) stolen from her, including her wedding band that I am so upset of losing for our family. She went though a couple assisted living facilities and has since passed, but I will never forget what this company robbed from my family. We contacted the Police and filed charges, but nothing came out of it. Not sure what kind of background checks they go through, even though I’m not sure how much it matters. I’m upset, and heartbroken.

This company discriminates against seniors as employees. I had worked for Seniors Helping Seniors for 2 years in Boston & 2 years in Western Mass. After my interview I was told that I would hear one way or another if I would be accepted. I never heard back. The only other employee I met there was in her 30's at most. I would suggest if you want to work with the elderly go to another agency.
