I needed someone to repair my 20kw generator which was throwing an ‘under voltage’ error. The original installer got out of the generator business about as quickly as they got into it. Finding competent generator support is not easy. I’ve got above ground power and a generator out of commission in December is no fun. Vance showed up, diagnosed a bad controller within 15 minutes and replaced it right then and there. I was expecting to hear that he’d have to order a controller and return next week but he actually carries inventory on his truck. Vance had the generator up and running in 30min. Including a test for commercial power outage. Service was fast, courteous and professional. Thank you Vance Electric!

I highly recommended Vance Electric. Very professional, experience, responsive, and provide great quality service. Putting in a new backup generator, Vance was very professional and patient in explaining what to expect, what paper work and process to fill out with the HOA, and Vance took care of everything from A-Z. During one of the big storms, the generator went into reset mode. We called and Vance is at our house within 10 minutes time frame to address the issue. This was the fourth bid I had gotten for installing a whole house generator. The company came out to provide a quote very quickly, were extremely helpful in explaining all of my available options, and had a very competitive price. Furthermore, I felt very secure in their knowledge of what they were doing. Cannot list a single fault in the service I received.
Called this company near end of July, was told it'll take two weeks to get an estimator to come out. When estimator came, he said for the whole house generator it'll need this module and that module, and total will be around 12000. Said he'll give us a written quote. That was more than 2 weeks ago. Nothing happened. My wife actually CALLED THEM and some office lady said the estimator will email us in a few days. So far it's been another week, nothing. No email, no phone call, nothing. Ironically the estimator was boasting how if we bought the generator in August, we can enjoy Generac's extended warranty for free. Well, that's kinda hard to do when they can't even give us a proper quote!! It's hard to do business with a company that can't even be bothered to respond to the most basic request. I'd give them ZERO stars if possible because technically, they did nothing. I hope ours is an isolated case and that you have better luck with these people.
