The atmosphere here is bright and cheerful while maintaining a high level of customer service. They were welcoming and informative about the choices on the menu. The food is delicious, along with the great choice of hot beverages. They have these great mugs that can also be purchased, of very good quality. The hog wild breakfast is light and flavorful so I highly recommend this teal nice neighborhood spot.

We loved our brunch at Square Cafe! Great food and excellent service. The Brussels sprouts bowl was delicious, and the lemon-blueberry ricotta pancakes decadent. Kids loved the fresh squeezed OJ. The new space is beautiful, too.
I will start with the good. The Last Unicorn latte was really delicious. It had a very nice hint of lavender and it wasn't overpowering. Sometimes when places play with lavender they end up using way too much and it tastes bad. But this latte was great. -The pumpkin walnut pancakess also had a really good flavor. And they were just pretty good pancakes - not too thick and not too thin. Now for the bad... We ordered online. My husband initially mistyped the zip code. So it told him the charge couldn't be processed and to try again. So he did and now he has FIVE pending charges for this restaurant. So now we have to wait to see if they will go away or if we have to call the bank. Its very annoying. -The yogurt parfait I had wasn't too great. There was not a good balance of ingredients. It was very bland to me. I think it would be better if they offered berries as an option instead of bananas. It also cost 9 which is just way too expensive for something that bland. -Although the pumpkin pancakes were pretty good there were very few walnuts in them. -My husband's breakfast sandwich was average at best. So overall not super pleased. I think we will give them another shot at some point and maybe avoid ordering online.
OMG this place is amazing! They opened up the new location in East Liberty pretty recently and it is always packed so call ahead if you can! The food is amazing and the brunch cocktails, to die for! This is also a locally owned restaurant, support the business!
Of all my times going (around ten) never once had a bad meal. Will definitely keep going back!
