Very elegant and convenient restaurant. They offer generous portions and for affordable prices. I loved the menu very much and the staff were super attentive and chatty. I recommend this place.

Pasta was delicious and I would highly recommend trying the fries with the garlic caper aioli. Prices are reasonable.

Went there with a friend enjoyed the mussels and the food is really good. I will have to go back and try a few other dishes. THe World Cup game was on so to be far, they ran out of Waffles. So, the next time I am trying them.

It’s been a year since finding this spot as a great mussels joint, and still overly satisfied with Elena! The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, Elena delivers delicious food and good beer through great service...

Always a great stop for your favorite brews that are typically hard to find in the US.

Amazing food! The best English Breakfast I’ve had, and it goes great with (a few of) the Belgian beer cocktail

Fresh seafood with a great view of the pier! There was a long wait for dinner but the service and food quality were worth it. We ordered seared pacific cod, clam chowder, and seafood penne. Cod was soft and cooked to perfection; with the chorizo butter on top it tasted amazing. Pasta was filled with a variety of seafood and the clam chowder was delicious. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive the entire time. Would come back anytime to try other items!

It says it has shut down temporarily due to some fire (as of Summer 2019) but looks like it went totally dead as homeless people camp out now at the entrance. It certainly was a great place for drinks for all locals and made great range of Belgian style Mussels!! I will go back the day it opens if the same menu is there! I lived and worked in a local Flemish setting in Brussels years back and I must say these fellows make the absolute best mussels in Greater DC. You can drink the remaining wine sauce/soup and get a nice healthy buzz!! Have your round of strong Belgian beers first and then move to wines and the mussels who are happily swimming in dry white wine. They’re happy and you’ll be happy too. Trust me. Update: got a nice note from the Owner with good news about the process of reopening!! I am very happy.
