This museum was so well done. The exhibits were interesting and the informational signs were large enough print to be read and short enough to be interesting. Some exhibits were interactive. You will enjoy your visit.

I really liked this place. The museum really put a lot of thought into their exhibits. My friends and I had a blast. One of my personal favorites was the interactive pirate story session they have in one of the rooms 'below deck'. The museum has done a really good job at using a number of media to get the story of the various pirates in the world (and more specifically those who had a connection to St. Augustine) across. Definitely worth a visit, irrespective of your age group!

Visited many years ago when this museum was in Key West. This one is smaller than I remember, but still worth a walk through. If you are into history and pirates, this is your place. Lots to see and keep younger kids occupied, but really little ones more than likely not the place.

The Pirate Museum was a lot of fun! There were a lot of artifacts and history to see and learn about. We went as four adults who were curious and were not disappointed. The treasure found in my first pic showed a creepy old bowl with Annunaki/Reptillian type carving which I found interesting. I got a super adorable, hilarious PI mug in the gift shop as well. A great place for kids and adults alike!

I was pleasantly surprised! They have a good variety of artifacts (gold, weapons, clothes, journals, navigation tools) that are well displayed- in settings, not just cases. The interactive stations are a nice touch and the movie poster/prop room was a perfect way to end the tour. The children there looked like they were having a good time. There weren't many people when I was there but I imagine it could get crowded because some rooms seem small. I will definitely go back.
