I had a great time at the St. Bernard Sheriff Annual Crawfish Cookoff. The grounds were well kept, it felt as if I stepped back in time seeing the old houses and gravel country roads. The homes had memoriabila from years ago! The crawfish boil was a delcious fun filled family event, I can't wait until next year!
The Festival was just Awesome, Crowds were GOOD. FEST PROVIDED PARKING AND A TRAM RIDE TO THE GROUNDS, OR PARK ON PERS ONAL PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR JUST 5--GREAT DEAL, WE WALKED ACROSS STREET TO ENTRANCE--ADMISSION 3,ANOTHER GREAT DEAL. THE PEOPLE WERE NICE & FRIENDLY ,EAGER TO SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE ISLENOS CULTURE--LOTS OF PHOTO DISPLAYS AND INFO. THE FOOD WAS GREAT & TASTY MADE BY THE VERY VENDORS SELLING IT TO FAIR GOERS. GREAT MUSEUM AND PEOPLE SGARING THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE ESTAB. OF TGE EARLY SPAINISH COLONY..SEE PICS
