This is the only church we have found for 20 years that was not judge mental or had high expectations and performance. River City has In a safe place of refuge and healing after spiritual abuse in the church. It has been an incredible three years of growing in the Lord and understanding the full council of God. People are friendly, warm and authentic… No pretense at all! Super refreshing.

I was happy to hear of the new ministry in Elgin and also of the upcoming outreach in Batavia. Disappointed that only one person greeted us with meaningful conversation. But this is very common in churches. Worship was too showy at the begining with smoke and all. Loved seeing the children participate in worship. Truly believe children are the clue to connection. It is easier to get to know one another when families are together. People love to talk about their children and they are a bridge for strangers to talk with one another. Thank you for your ministry to the fox valley. My heart and prayers are with you.

Great church stressing biblical preaching, relevant lessons and has a fresh new feeling to it. Their mission statement is simple and effective- Moving people from where they are to where God wants them to be. This church \does life together\ like no other church. They are not only a group who worships the one true God but a great group of friends who gather together many other days besides Sunday's but also welcomes everyone.
