We contacted their office two weeks ago about a shower remodel. The staff seemed disinterested in the project and told us they’d find a quote from an old job they did that was similar and get back to us. The staff didn’t ask many questions and seemed very dismissive. Surprisingly, two weeks later we still haven’t heard back. I get the impression they had enough work and were not interested is this job. After reading other reviews I found some similar experiences. While we prefer to work with a local business, I am not sure this one will meet your basic expectations.

I attempted to work with home check plus to get an estimate on a bathroom remodel. I reached out online, received a prompt response, and had someone out to do an assessment on January 16th. Since then I have repeatedly been told different dates when I could expect the proposal, from the initial 2 weeks, to multiple other times where I was told I would receive the proposal by end of day, yet 2 months later I still have not received anything. This is my first time trying to find a home remodeler, and I assumed by the ratings here I could trust home check plus. EDIT: The company followed up with me and was extremely apologetic about the situation. I truly hope this was a one time mistake on their part and they will make sure to communicate with future customers much better.
I have hired Home Check for the past several years to perform carpentry repairs and drywall work. Their professionalism, timeliness and workmanship quality is excellent! A valued partner - thanks Home Check!
