Good for kids
Seems like a lot of dogs know what a great place this is. They bring their owners here by the dozens. Great for a hike or a Fat Bike ride. Pretty the noisy out here with trucks, trains, planes, snd police training, but amazing as well.

Awesome park! Mix of prairie, woodlands, and marsh. Easy, flat trails easily accommodate strollers. Please pack out garbage and dog waste!
This place is gorgeous! There's so much more than you can see from Highway 10. The observation deck is in the most untamed glorious area - just amazing.
This place has trails through a variety of landscapes (prairie, marsh and pines). It has quite a boardwalk that goes through the marsh and a wildlife viewing platform. It is dog friendly as long as owners clean up after their pets. There are strict leash restrictions spring to summer since it is a wildlife preserve.
Quiet and peaceful trails and beautiful area. Only downside is all the dog owners I came across did not keep their dogs on leashes. We also came across some “land mines” that dogs left behind. It would be nice if the dog owners at least picked up after their pets.
