We went there August 2020.. It was us, a lady in a van camper, a guy in motor home, and us. This is 30 miles outside of Jacksonville..Will not be back. Billie doesn’t put any work into the place. Grass knee high, trees blocking the overgrown trails. Her dogs run free, going through trash, but your dog is on lockdown...

The resort is run by someone who has given up. Treats her customers as they are a nuisance. Asked the owner to raise the water temperature in the jacuzzi a little as it was too cold to use. Her answer was to drain the water out. Owner posted sign outside of men's room in the bath house that men are not allowed to use the inside showers. The wifi is not for customers use. Had to walk through knee high grass between RV and pool. But spent days mowing around her office/house. We had enough and forfeited our last two days . We will not be back. The owner should just sell the resort as she clearly doesn't want to be there anymore.
if you are looking for a bar&grill and bands there are better places if you are looking for a nice quiet place with trails this is your place. the owner is not mean
This is a favorite get away of ours. There a numerous hiking trails and the St. Mary's River. This is the perfect place if you don't need a lot of fancy amenities.
Wonderful place of peace and quiet. Billie and her staff are extra friendly and helpful. The trails are amazing! As always, less is more! \u200d️\u200d️
Ms. Billie was so mean to us this past visit. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what. I was completely appalled. We chose to leave our camping trip a day early because of her attitude. We won’t be back. Cash only. Off the books. Shady businesswoman. (Carol Baskin look alike) We even went to Walmart for her high risk self our last visit. SMH I really don’t understand why she was so ill. We have seen her be Ill with other campers in past visits. We are great guest to have. Neat, clean. Respectful. Anyways.... obviously I don’t recommend you spend your money here.
A pleasant experience. Billie is so accommodating and wants her guest to have a wonderful experience while visiting. True nature awaits at this beautiful resort. The grounds are well kept and the pool is so inviting. I highly recommend Hidden River Resort.
Hidden River Resort is a great place to get away from everyday life. It is always quiet and the other guests have been super nice to us. Quiet and cozy place to relax and enjoy the lifestyle. My girlfriend and I go as often as possible. It's a must for beginners!!
