Late response. Visited this place on 2018. Situated on a private area on Pritchard Hill of Napa Valley. Need an appointment to get in. I came here to get my allocation and was greeted very warmly. The host toured me on their main cellar and invited me on their current release of their vintage to taste, which was superb. The view of the valley was spectacular. The architecture seems homely and modern. Love it. I was treated as a VIP customer and felt welcomed to their estate. A memorable moment. I have been a loyal wine enthusiast of their wines. I will visit their estate again when the opportunity rises.

Loved my tasting at Ovid. The views from the tasting room and balcony were the perfect backdrop to enjoy their Hexameter wines — the Experiment label was also fantastic.

There wasn't any Ovid for this tasting but the '13 Hexameter Cab Franc was drinking beautifully. The rest of my party loved the Experiment (can't recall which one). Regardless, one of the most beautiful wineries around. Call them for a private tasting. Be prepared to buy a three-pack for almost 900.
