Nice facilities. We use the gym for basketball and volleyball this last year for our homeschool league. Good lighting and a professional grade wood floor. Plenty of seats. Even room to allow my boys to run and play ball outside on very nice grass. Staff I have interacted with we're very helpful and pleasant.

Vert nice campus with gym, football field, chapel, mess hall, classrooms ect all together on several blocks of campus . The four core values they stress are set in the bricks of the walk area.
From Frank Pyle: I attended St. John's in the 50's. My experience was very positive. The teacher student ratio was fantastic. I owe many of my life experiences that were made positive from the education and discipline I received while there. I've kept in touch with teachers and classmates over the years. Unfortunately, most of my teachers have passed on.
St. John's has obviously turned out many exceptional young men throughout its history. I would recommend it particularly for boys who lack personal discipline and who really need a more structured environment in which to grow. The military and achievement oriented atmosphere is excellent for a boy in those circumstances. It is also very obvious how much the administration, faculty, and military staff care about these boys. This I am sure we would not find at our local schools and really does set St. John's apart in a very good way.
As I look back on my life, whatever success I have achieved is largely because of the time I attended St. John's. I learned self discipline, self esteem and how to live my life with compassion for others. The quality of the faculty is outstanding and the objectives they set for each student encourages them to do better than they think they can. The environment requires that you change your life style and accept the structure that is necessary to do your best and change some of your previous bad behavior. There is no question that the school's staff truly cares for each cadet and the brotherhood that develops between cadets will last a lifetime.
