This place is so amazing and it tells me more about my family. Jesse James is my distant cousin meaning dead, or fae away, and i love how i can learn more about them, i cant wait to go visit this place one day!
The souvenir newspaper is worth getting. The James house is a separate museum than the Patee House. You can park next to the Carousel house and follow the side walk around the Carousel House to go only to the James House.
Very interesting place. Enjoyed our visit and the things we learned. Took us 2-1/2 hours to go through the museum. A time we'll spent.
Could have had more to it. I had seen the home on the History Channel previously. It wasn't quite like I had imagined. The attendant was friendly, and the admittance fee was fair. It would have been a short adventure had the Patee museum not been so close. It doesnt take long at all to view the four room James House.
