Aaron is an awesome guitar teacher! I feel like I learned more in my first one hour lesson than I did in all the years I spent before that trying to learn guitar on my own. His lessons are fun and tailored to my musical tastes, so I'm not only learning to play but I'm also learning to play songs I like.

After an exhaustive search through the major search engines which produced limited redundant results . I stumbled across THUMBTACK. Within 15mins. I found my Bass instructor Aaron Doerr. Aaron’s teaching style is efficient, fun, creative - and fosters skills quickly! I have been taking lessons for 4 months and am in awe of how much I have already learned and how many songs I can play. Things I thought were ‘end goals’ turned out to be easily accomplished with his skilled facilitation. His lessons are repertoire-based, so everything you learn is directly related to being able to rock out to your favorite jams. Aaron is very empowering – he works with your skills and strengths and empowers you to “embrace your own style.” Highly, highly recommend! Couldn't ask for a better guitar teacher.
