Went in to get shades for some amazing retro eagle lamps recently acquired without shades. I poked around online a bit, but wanted to see what the shades actually looked like on the lamp. I'm certainly glad I did, because there really is no way to gauge how something will look without actually seeing. I bought a shade for each lamp and headed home to see how they looked in their spot. They didn't look good, but luckily Brody's has a 5 day return policy, so long as you don't remove the plastic. I came back in and the lady (Carol, Karen, can't recall) that had assisted previously took the time to go over many different options, and not once did she become flustered or impatient. Her primary concern was truly assisting in finding the perfect shade for my birds, and after about 20 minutes, we had them. I could have probably gotten something online cheaper, but the personal service, and being able to view your setup is well worth any extra expense.
