A fantastic time to be had by all. The mariachi bands are incredible. Great place to people-watch. You must try all of the food there from Empanadas To tapas to fish tacos. Plenty of vendors selling everything from sombreros to scarves to dresses to Southwestern jewelry and accessories

My brother was brutally assaulted at this event. He was attacked by 5 strangers that he didn't even say a word to. They came up behind him & started beating him. Once he was down on the ground they kicked him repeatedly in his head. It ended with him having 2 skull fractures & several broken bones in his face. He is currently in intensive care at SLU with a piece of his skull removed. He has had 2 brain surgeries so far. Attend this event at your own risk. We believe they also stole his car. His keys & car are gone. This is a very dangerous neighborhood & I wish my brother had never went to meet friends there. He is a soft spoken guy who has never been in a fight in his life. He would not start trouble with anyone. I'm sure that's why they targeted him. Once they threw a couple of punches & he didn't attempt to fight back they tried to kill him. DO NOT GO TO THIS NEIGHBORHOOD!!!
The music choice for the daytime should have been more family oriented. Racial slurs and cursing set to a dope beat is still just racial slur's and cursing! Save it until the children are gone!
