Went back and forth on a 3/4 star. Went in looking for Oscars, they had a tank with a few in it that looked real good but none jumped out at me. Great store...for Salt Water fish, great variety, fish looked happy and healthy and well maintained (but pretty pricey) , didn't feel like they had a great variety of freshwater fish, but hey, could be the day before restocking, wouldn't know only seen one guy working and when he wasn't taking a breath he was helping other customers.....will definitely go back to check the freshwater variety

Very knowledgeable staff and great displays. Really great selection of coral colonies and frags. They also have a great selection of marine fish and invertebrates. They also have a smaller selection of freshwater fish as well. Overall, this is a must visit if you're a Fish nerd.

Small shop, but a great one. Primarily a saltwater hobbyist shop, but it looks like they've greatly expanded their freshwater section since I stopped in last a few years ago. I'm not an expert in the saltwater side of the hobby, but every tank looked well kept and the selection did appear to be much more varied than the typical bread and butter saltwater fish and inverts. TheyaThey look like they stocked higher end brands of equipment, which is is excellent in a local shop so folks don't have to order things online to get quality equipment. Most hobbyists will agree it's better to pay more on start up than be cheap and have to replace your whole setup a year down the road. Freshwater has come a long way! For such a small section I was very impressed with the selection. Harder fish to come by in STL such as Kribensis, Apistogrammas, farlowella catfish, celestial pearl danios, Neocaridina shrimp, just to name a few that stood out to me. Also they keep their bettas in individual small acrylic tanks instead of cups. Always an awesome sign. To really seal the deal, the staff today was really wonderful. The fish hobby can get a little same old, same old, especially working in a fish store. Great to hear the employees excitedly talking about getting cool fish in.

Finally got my tank all set up and decided to pop into this place as it is literally 3 minutes from my home. The store has everything you would need. All the fish and tanks were well kept and taken care of and clean. The corals were vibrant and healthy looking. They also carry all the things you would need in terms of salt, food, supplements, etc. The staff was very friendly. This place will definitely keep me as a patron and cannot wait to return for more fish/corals in the future.

My husband and I built our 1st pond out of the rock that was in our backyard when we poured our patio. After 10 years it was showing signs that it needed to be redone. Chad came out to see just what needed to be taken away 'n what needed to be added and pulled together thee most amazing team who reconstructed my pond to epic proportions! With the guidance and creativity of Matt, Ron and DJ assisted him in building a stunningly beautiful and zen like pond with 2 spill ways that look like they are right out of the Teton Mountains in Wyoming. Thank you guys for your amazing work and nuggets of knowledge on how to keep my Koi healthy, happy, and my pond looking beautiful!
