I needed some comfort adjustments to a new couch; the cushions were too stiff as well as they were too stuffed. A friend recommended this store. They took the cushions and in three days I picked them up and they were perfect, softer but not too soft. I asked how did you know what I wanted, they answered if they are not perfect bring them back and we will adjust them until they are; we start with minimal adjustment and if you want more we will do it at no further cost. What a concept, “make the customer happy through great service, high quality and at a reasonable cost”. If I ever have an upholstery question, Gomez is where I will go.

They were the best Ive seen in along time. Vary reasonable price wise for the work being done, and vary professional and knowledgeable about what I was looking for in the best quality of service and materials. I would recommend highly.

Found this business using Google Maps, and I noticed they had very favorable reviews. Took them pics of bar stools that needed reupholstering. They gave me an estimate in about 5 minutes. Price was reasonable. Left 4 of 6 seats with them, and they said the work would likely be completed in 4 to 5 weeks. Instead, the 4 were completed in about a week! They needed a bit less material than estimated, so the price was even reduced. They're working now on the last 2 seats. Outstanding, professional business! Everything is great about this place. Gomez Upholstery did an excellent job for us. A decorator at Ethan Allen in Chesterfield recommended Mr. Gomez. We took the fabric and the items to be upholstered to the shop, which is in a nice part of south St. Louis. The decorator met us there to explain what she wanted done. We had a small bench, an antique French chair, and ten dining room chair seat cushions. We also had Mr. Gomez make a lumbar pillow for a chair. The items were finished before the time that they had been promised, and they all turned out great. There was a sight issue. We could not get the dining room chair cushions to fit back into the chair frames. The fabric and the new stuffing had enlarged the cushions to the point that they would not go back into the frames. This was basically our fault; we had not taken any of the chairs to the shop so that Mr. Gomez could have known how much room he had to work with. We called the shop and they told us to bring the cushions back and to bring the chair frames along, which we did. In a few days Mr. Gomez did what he needed to do to make the cushions fit, and he installed them in the chairs for us. In addition, Mr. Gomez and his helper delivered the chairs to our house and brought them into the dining room. Despite the fact that the adjustment, installation, and delivery entailed a significant amount of work, there was no addition charge. Mr. Gomez went way beyond expections to keep us happy.
