Jefferson Barracks is a very well kept cemetery and a pleasant place to visit. It makes me happy to see that our veterans have such a gorgeous and peaceful resting place. There's a gravesite locator at the main building as well as bathrooms inside. The main office is still closed to the public.

Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery is located in south St. Louis County. I was there this evening visiting my parents as it's my mom's birthday. This cemetery is always well manicured and uniform as you can see from the photos. There's a location finder once you enter the gates. There's an old historic side and then the newer side. Almost every time I go, I always see my fury deer friends. Not a great place to visit, but if you have to, its nice and quiet for thinking, grieving and spending time with your loved one. #Tonetta

This is a very beautiful, well kept burial ground. It makes other cemeteries look subpar. The grounds are always neat and well kept. The deer are a nice addition too haha. I always am happy being here because it is so beautiful and I am confident my loved ones are resting well because of how respectful staff are at keeping everything in order. They are building something new which is nice. It certainly looks different than it did ten years ago which is a good thing. Even though it looked nice then too, it’s nice to always see improvements.

A very important dedication to our heros & their families. A tremendous amount of history in this entire area. I encourage people to come explore & learn.
