Paid off a debt (Verizon Wireless in April of 2017. Received a letter saying I owed this amount but if I paid half. Lucky for me, I kept all my documents. Now what Pinnicle and Consurgent is doing is considered \MAIL FRAUD\ 18 USC 940 (section 1341) has some really heavy penalties. Don't fall for anything from these collection idiots, read it carefully than file a complaint with the FTC.

They are constantly spamming my email and harassing me over a Verizon debt that I paid off in the late 2,000's. I don't know how these people sleep at night.

I spoke with a young lady named Capri. She was amazing and told me that she was so sorry someone informed me of something that was not true. I prepared for this call to go totally different because I read the reviews and she was literally amazing.
Oddly... a debt collection agency that didn't feel the need to impersonate lawyers. Could have just been the person I spoke to, a lady with a southern accent. I asked questions and got straight answers and even advised me on possible scenarios as to the best way to proceed to get this removed from my credit report even if I decided that paying them wasn't the best option. While I would recommend some modifications to their business model I would have to say that of all the debt collectors (and there were a lot of them) that I have had to deal with they were the most pleasant. If you read this, guys, removing the debt from the credit report would make people happier and not punish people that try hard to get their life in order. Beyond that hire more people like the lady I spoke with.
