This is one of the old timey shops. In speaking with the owner, he learned to carve from his father as a child. His father was an impressive craftsman (you can see some pieces at the shop) and the owner is as well. He has the tools and experience to make things you need replaced, and the ability to make gorgeous commissioned one of a kind pieces. So many artisan shops have gone corporate, and this one is standing the test of time as an expert in the craft.

The management is focused on helping people with an interest in wood products to create or enjoy them. From time to time fresh cut wood is found for those who love to make wooden spoons, bowls and other things.

George was able to custom make a handle for a 150 year old Axehead that i had found with a metal detector in northern MN. He matched the period by carving out of a solid walnut log, with a scorched and sanded distressed look. Awesome ...nobody was able to do this and a stock handle did not exist as this axe was hand forged.

Left a table leg for repair and paid in advance. No contact since. Repeated phone calls go unanswered. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!

Drove to your store today at 2 PM and it was closed. Not sure why. Tried calling and your phone mail recording indicated it is full. Got a delivery failure notice on your email address. Not sure how to communicate with you and not real impressed at this time
