Great store, perfect for outdoor activities. The staff is so nice and professional! Prices aren't the cheapest, but you know for sure that the quality is the best!

REI is the only big box store that I ENJOY going to. They have the best return policy I've ever experienced and have always honored it. The prices aren't cheap, though it's quality stuff they sell and they back it. Staff are knowledgeable and seem to actually enjoy their jobs.

Two different 50 year old losers (see: gray haired male retail worker) kept harassing me to put my mask up over my nose. One of them wouldn't hand me the merchandise after he unlocked it and brought it to the register instead, maybe that should be your SOP to begin with if we are actually in a pandemic, complete lack of self awareness.

I love REI. It's the privileged customers I can't stand. One woman wanted to exchange a gift card because her son didn't like the graphics on it. Really? She was in her sixties so I imagine the son was in his 30's and living in the basement. Then the guy after her had to take off the clothes he had put on to try on and tried for some reason thought the sales person would know how to remove a stain from the old jacket he had on. Dear boomers, I know you've been lonely locked up because of the Covid but not every stranger you meet wants to hear your story or problem. That's what your dog is for.

Great selection of outdoorsy sporting gear. The staff was present and helpful. Their 'garage sale' prices were high. But if you're shopping for good gear, REI is there for it.
