I started attending Washington University in St. Louis’ School of Engineering and Applied Science in the fall of 2015. One of the first courses I took was Calculus II—an infamously difficult class. When I told my father the name of my professor, I learned that he was the very same professor my father had 35 years ago when he attended the university. Throughout the semester, I kept hearing my father’s horror stories of struggling and receiving subpar grades in the class, and I started to worry. Fortunately for me, Igor was there to help me. At the end of the semester, I finished with an A in the class--something not many students achieve. Without Igor, I never would have received such a good grade, and I would not have developed such a great understanding of calculus which has been a valuable asset to me throughout my continued studies at the Engineering School.
