don’t bother calling - on main number, nobody picks up, can’t leave a voice mail. case workers also don’t pick up and don’t call you back. will never use again.

DO NOT USE STL HUD TO GET TENANTS! Their counselors are overworked and therefore unresponsive. They will omit information to meet their objectives (I was given a tenant who was a hoarder and as a result, my house burned down) HUD nor the tenant is responsible for damages and they will basically pay the least amount possible. Your property will get destroyed if you allow them to place a tenant. I've had one burned down, and another destroyed. Both were dealing drugs in the units and their counselors did nothing and did not respond. You have been warned.

The people at the front desk are friendly. In fact everyone there may be friendly. My tenants are great, but the problem I have experienced with this organization is that they are terrible with communication. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone, a response to an email or voicemail, or face-to-face conversation with the right person. Darrell Miller is the only one who returns a phone call. They consistently lose documents and drag out processes. I honestly believe that they are understaffed and overworked.
