Great day on the island. I enjoyed the horses and the water temperature was perfect, even for October. The walk was a bit much to make the ferry on time so next time I'll be renting a bike! Out of the entire 5 hours, I spent 15 minutes in the ocean and the rest walking, sight seeing, and racing back to make the ferry.

A unique mix of palmetto palm and old oak covered with spanish moss. A cool setting for a camp. Massive ruins from the 1800's, and feral horses all over. A very nice beach, too.
