I'm pretty sure this place has been around since back when I was in high school in the mid-nineties, listening to the Cranberries and Pearl Jam as a semi-legal permitted driver. I recently started going here again after the Whole Foods across the street closed down its cafe for medical security reasons. I was really hoping the owner would hold out himself because his coffee was dece! But alas, the staff was let-go, they started closing at 7PM, and finally the dreaded hand-scrawled sign over the door. Not sure, maybe they're back up: I do hope they are since this place has been around for awhile and they pour a good drip!

I had the turtle mocha from here and it was great. Service was quick and friendly. My roommate and I like to go on walks in the neighborhood and try cafes. Was hoping to introduce her to Cahoots, but when we stop by we saw it's temporarily. Hope it opens back up soon. Can't wait to go back!

Cahoots is the perfect local coffee shop. The staff are always very polite and friendly, the drinks are hot and taste great, and the atmosphere is very welcoming, like a good friend's house. Cahoots is our go-to for a study spot, for a good quiet place to read a book, or just for a spot to get a quick warm drink with a friend.
