My family and I were looking for a day of adventure near Minneapolis, Minnesota. I contacted Hard Water Sports about a guided whitewater river rafting trip. We booked a trip and met the rafting guide on the Kettle River in Sandstone Minnesota (only about an hour north of the Twin Cities Metro) The rafting adventure took about 4 hours stopping for a lunch, to swim and cliff jump. The river is beautiful and we had a great time, the whole family loved it.

An awesome experience! My gf and I loved the trip down the Kettle River, but it wasn't just rafting. The guides are knowledgeable and can help even beginners get acquainted with steering and reading the river. Definitely a great time and will come back for more! Ask for Dan
My wife and I just went rafting with these guys while we were in town from Philly for the Metallica concert. Was a great time! The guides are awesome and know what's going on and provide you with all sorts of neat facts about the river while you go. Any skill level could do the river with ease due to the guides being on top of everything. If you're in town and looking for some fun, totally recommend these guys. Oh, BUG SPRAY! BRING IT! It was the end of August when we went, I've never seen mosquitoes like I did there, and I was raised in Florida! Seriously, you will get eaten alive. Put it on before you leave and bring it with you to reapply.
We had a great time rafting with Hard Water Sports. The Kettle River is beautiful and our guide was awesome - we already have plans to go rafting again next year.
