Home Instead Senior Care was truly a gift to us. Their help was tremendous in our lives and the lives of our mom and dad. The caregivers were there for our dad, and when he passed, our mom...up until she passed just a month ago. I cannot say enough good things about this organization. The compassion and professionalism continues to impress me, even thinking about it now. These are women and men who are hard working, accessible, and easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to any of my friends or family. Once again, a sincere thank you to you all for the exceptional care for our parents.

I have worked in in healthcare for fifteen years. I started at Home Instead due to their ethical reputation. The owner not only screens care givers deeper than other companies but he's also hands on calling them asking how they are doing as he cares about them. I've never worked for such a caring and fun organization. We all know how our clients are doing and it's not uncommon to pray for them while they go through tough times. We truly are here because we have a protective feeling for seniors that deserve to be respected and heard. I wouldn't work for another organization like it, as there isn't one.
I have been a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care in Maplewood for 3 years. As an employer they offer excellent training for new employees, flexible scheduling, and a career path for those looking for professional advancement. The leadership in this organization values and cares for all employees as individuals and recognizes the strengths that each person brings to the organization. They are unrelenting in their efforts to provide support for their employees so that they can provide the highest quality care to the seniors in our community. I am proud to be a member of their team.
I worked for this job for 2 months. I LOVED my care giver position. I LOVED my clients and I took passion into the shifts I made it to. This job made it seem like they were really understanding of most situations. So they say. I got let go because of too many \call offs.\ I have 2 kids. My kids have a low immune and get sick easily so I can't bring them to daycare. Second I was considered a no call no show because I called in late to my shift, my phone had fell behind my bed and (I'm hard of hearing) I didn't hear my phone alarm. I offered to make it to the rest of my shift, I was told I'd have to stay for 3 hours still and I said I would but I have a Dr appt that cannot be rescheduled. They considered that a no call no show. (I offered to show. And I called...when I had finally woken up.) So understanding. NOT. So if you are a mother who's looking for an understanding job company, this is NOT the one.
Every single person that has come to care for my dad has been amazing. Such caring, kind individuals. You have made this difficult transition in our lives so much better. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
