Justine was absolutely wonderful to work with and the perfect addition to our birthing experience! From start to finish of working with her she made me feel validated and empowered to make my own decisions. She is knowledgeable and capable and would recommend her to anyone and everyone having a baby! Most of birth didn't go to \plan\ and she still helped me to feel in charge of the process and in control of my decisions. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Deciding whether to get a doula? DO IT!! Justine is an earth angel! Birth comes with so many unknowns. Midwest doulas are birth experts and keep you feeling informed and calm. They know things you would never even think to ask! Thanks to Justine my husband and I both felt so much more equipped during labor. She knew how to ease my pain, helped me advocate for myself and relieved my coupling contractions as well as get baby in good position. She has great pushing tricks and was an amazing cheerleader. We have said to one another many times since that we could not have done it without her guidance. I can’t imagine my experience without her and I’m so glad I don’t gave to. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much Midwest Doulas!
I am so grateful to Midwest Doulas for helping me prepare for the birth of my son and to Ale for being there with us. Things did not go according to our birth plan at all, which made me all the more thankful to have had Ale's support. Ale made me feel comforted and supported through a very difficult and life-changing event and also helped me make some very tough decisions. I truly could not have done it without her! Midwest Doulas was also such a great resource for us after we brought our baby home and had issues with breastfeeding. They made a huge difference for me in terms of feeling prepared and supported through the whole process. I cannot thank them enough!
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Justine, Ale and Midwest Doulas! The level of care through every step of prenatal care, labor, delivery and postpartum has been unmatched. Being our first child, we didn’t know what to expect but I can honestly say that we would not have had the natural, water birth we wanted without this team to help advocate for us. Justine has been a great resource for us after delivery as well, her knowledge and passion for what she does is truly amazing. Finally, the package that was delivered to our doorstep of the encapsulated placenta exceeded expectations, with special gifts and keepsakes from the birth. I would HIGHLY recommend Midwest Doulas!
My wife and I welcomed our first-born to the world with the help and support of Ale from Midwest Doulas. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about hiring a doula. I figured I'd be able to offer enough support for my wife during the birth. Once Ale showed up at the hospital late at night, that skepticism vanished. She arrived shortly after we contacted her and went straight to work. Her positive impact was felt immediately. Our birth was not quick and easy, so she played an essential role in it. Ale stayed at the hospital, even taking a nap in her vehicle, until our daughter Juniper was born. Her knowledge of different techniques and positions was something I could not offer. She had a calming energy to her and gave helpful verbal and moral support the entire time. It's difficult for me to imagine our birth experience without Ale and I will suggest her to anyone considering hiring a doula. Thank you Ale!
