You folks really need to get it together. No one is on the same page here!!!! Everyone has a different set of rules. Watch out for this FUR LOVER cause if a particular WONDERFUL DOGGIE gets put down, an attorney will be contacting Robeson County. Not a threat just a promise.

My husband and I were having trouble getting call backs from other places in other shelters to go pick out a dog until we found this place the people that greeted us were very friendly and we ended up getting a puppy that same day for 25 as soon as we took it home we realized something was wrong with the puppy it was very sick. Today I just took it to the vet and it has Parvo that 25 dog suddenly became 825. That being said the shelter does states they don’t guarantee if the dogs aren’t sick and they aren’t reliable so they do warn you so it’s your chance to take. I like it because you can get a dog fast for cheap and the staff is friendly but you are taking a chance on the animal and if it sick it could spread to your animals at home. We were thinking about getting a cat we saw there but now we decided not after this. If they provided the shots for the animals and rise up the prices bc of it this place would be a great place to get an animal until then you’re taking a chance.

We got a beautiful Tortie kitten from here who is wonderful but there was a few things wrong. She was absolutely covered in dirt/ringworm residue, they told us she was a male and she was a female, she had ringworm, and the shelter was filthy and the cat room had no AC. I would only get animals here again for the sake of taking them out of that shelter because it was nasty.
