Second time my wife and I are here and we were well pleased again. The first time I had the mixed grill and she had the grilled vegetables, both safe choices at a new restaurant. This evening I had the delicious fork-tender lamb shank and she had the salmon. Both times we shared the excellent bacon wrapped scallops. Professional and attentive service. We'll be back the next time we're in the area.

Nice little place for a quick but delicious lunch more than the standard fare. Left full and with a smile. Staff makes you feel like you're eating your family. Would come back to try the dinner options!

The appetizer we got, the provoleta, was amazing and the sweetness of the honey complimented the bitterness of the arugula perfectly. The bread was difficult to chew because the crust was so hard. The ravioli plate was quite tasty and appeared to be made in house with a delicious sauce. The pasta I received, however, was lackluster. It had a fancy name but it did not have a fancy taste. If you like something with very heavy garlic flavoring then I'm sure this wouldn't be too bad. Their cheesecake was also really good so I still walked out very happy.

I do not mind paying abit on the higher side of the market to eat quality. I ordered the Lamb Shank entree take out. It was overcooked the top portion of the shank underneath the part submerged in the polenta was more tender but the majority of shank was challenging to enjoy. I called back the same day to speak with management. I was placed on hold for literally over 30 minutes I eventually just hung up and decided to bring my grievances to google and just leave a review here. I could've been handled better in my opinion on several levels food quality and customer service.

Though we were a large group, the server who was assigned our half of the table seemed to be overly busy. The food tasted really good. One person in our group food came out extremely late (some we're finished eating already), drinks that weren't re-ordered were showing up (can appreciate he eagerness). The environment is very intimate and charming. If I visit Brunswick again, I would try it again with a smaller group because the food was good, just his load was too heavy for I guess that night.
