Absolutely the worst outcome anyone can have! My pool is five years old and we already had to change the liner due to it not being installed properly. They poured cement around the pool in DECEMBER! They used their headlights as it grew darker. Also, enough water wasn’t ordered for the mixture of the cement so they actually started splashing water from the pool to the cement! The entire quality of the pool is terrible. Showed up drinking, or took lunch breaks to go drink. Tried to be nice, asked for help to come repair and never stood up to his mistakes. DO NOT, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Pay the extra money and get it done right! Not only did we have to replace the liner we had to replace about 10,000 worth of cement that wasn’t laid correctly. And... he never put enough of sand in the sand filter to start!!

Dave is the owner..he is very busy this time of year...with that being said he will take care of you like he says..down to earth man who understands isues and does his best to work with you if somethings come up.very helpful and kind during this pandemic and now my kids are swimming in their pool when MONARCH told us 4x the price dave charged and dave got to it alot faster then they planned. His help was very respectful and great with my pets also..hard working men
This is the Co. that was hired to install my pool liner and this is what he left me with. This was a brand new liner. DO NOT USE David Hjelm OF AQUATIC DREAM POOLS in VA.. He is an alcoholic, showed up stumbling drunk everytime. He did not cut in one of my returns so when he turned my pump on and left, all the water was being pumped behind the liner. He would not answer my calls or come fix this mess he made. It cost me 10k to fix this!! I paid him 6k & lost that money. DO NOT USE DAVID HJELM, AQUATIC DREAM POOLS IN VA!!
We hired Aquatic Dream Pools to repair our pool and install a liner. We payed over 3000 for repairs to the pool and installation of a new liner. Unfortunately the repairs didn't hold and we watched 1,375 dollars worth of water run down the hill. After many calls and no-shows, they came an fixed it. Naively we again filled the pool and again it didn't hold. Another 750 worth of water down the drain (literally). After many messages and a request for a refund, we're having to resort to a legal process to get our money back.
If you are looking to have a pool installed, this is not the company that you want. The Owner David Hjelm is not reliable what so ever. Let me explain: On Tuesday I provided this gentlemen with a wealthy deposit to install an in ground pool. On Wednesday his crew showed up and basically had to wait on his arrival. When he did show up, he was so intoxicated that he could barely stand up. Thursday was suppose to be a work day but he never showed up, come to find out that his team had quit on him because of his actions. Friday he was suppose to be available to take the delivery of the pool, after numerous calls and conversations which he obviously was intoxicated, he still did not show up. At this time, I was left with no other option but to terminate the contract. On Saturday morning he still showed up to work smelling as if he had just quit drinking. I turned him away and now I will be in a legal battle to get my deposit back.
