I came on the weekend to watch a local swim meet. While the relatively new facilities shined in the covid mitigation and social distancing of competition participants, I was more impressed with ample parking, friendly staff and smoothie bar offerings.

Recently went to the center because some friends of ours were having a kids birthday party. The staff was very friendly and answered all of the questions I asked of them about the place. The kids birthday party was completely done by a group from the staff, from setting up the birthday party room, serving pizza to everybody, to playing various games like dodge ball, and flag football with the kids (and parents). There is plenty of parking since it sits near the Embrey Mill Soccer Fields. There is a 50 meter competition pool, a recreation pool and a heated wellness pool and they all sit next to each other and can be seen from the 800 seat capacity room. There are other things you can do if you choose not to go swimming there is a basketball court, or a fully equipped training room. Plus there is a snack bar if you get hungry. Why 4 stars??? Well we live in Spotsylvania and that is over 28 miles away so this is better suited for those that live in the Stafford area.
