Updated Review (6/5/2020): As you can tell by my original review, see below, I love this place. Considering the COVID pandemic I was very concerned about Teff, and all local restaurants, ability to stay open. My wife and I ordered takeout tonight - I'm not kidding when I say the experience of eating with your hands and the quality of the food was just like you were sitting in the restaurant - amazing!! If you enjoyed this place when you could dine in - I assure you your take out experience will be equivalent to your dine in experience! Original Review: Stamford residents should be proud that the owners of Teff graced us with their restaurant. What an amazing and authentic Ethiopian restaurant!! We need more establishments, like Teff, expanding our pallets, introducing new cuisines, bringing more culture, and opening our yes to different ways of eating! The food here is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent Food in the dining wasteland that is Stamford. So yeah, this *is* Stamford, where you can work your way through a whole bunch of restaurants only to be rewarded with the bitter chill of mediocrity. And then there is Teff, where they somehow manage to not just make something that isn't utterly whitebread, but make it *good* at that. And yes, Good it is. Really good. Worth going back to repeatedly. The flavors, the textures, the complexity, it's all there - with the only challenge being overeating... Oh yes, the staff is friendly, and there is beer
Yum! Can't wait to visit when they open again for dine-in service. Doro Wat, Shiro wat and fuul are fantastic. I'm just missing a glass of tej!
