This place is AMAZING! Perfect to unplug, refresh, and recharge. The house is fully set up with the best wood fireplace and view I've seen in a long time. There are many nearby trails that offer awesome hiking like tanner's ridge fire trail one mile away that leads right into Big Meadows! This is very convenient since driving into the park involves taking a big road loop and a visitor pass and a park fee! Kim did and awesome job having all the information and tools you may possible need during your stay readily available. Will definitely come back very soon.

What an incredible Air BnB! We loved our stay at this beautiful lodge in the Shenandoah mountains. The kitchen was set up for any kind of cooking. We loved the homey atmosphere, the clear instructions from Kimberly, the really comfortable beds and the wrap around deck overlooking the forest. We will for sure be back to stay in this wonderful get-away!

This cabin is easy to reach and yet so secluded. It is very private and quiet. I was surprised that the bathrooms are very modern and they keep the entire interior immaculate. The outside balconies were great when we wanted to meet as a group and they are so long that you could also spread out in smaller groups if you wanted to. If you are there in the winter as we were, there is nothing like that living room heated by its wood burning stove: and they provide the firewood, which is something I've not found in every place I've stayed. -very convenient .

Stayed here during my first visit to the Shenandoah valley - what a beautiful area! The lodge was comfortable, cozy and perfect for our weekend getaway. Great wildlife spotting opportunities and overall just a relaxing, picturesque place to catch your breath.

Rustic, rugged, calm and quiet. A nice place to unwind and unplug, a base camp for some Appalachian Trail hiking, an evening by the fire, cooking over an open flame,... perhaps a glimpse of bear or deer among the forest greenery. Book a few days and see for yourself.
