If you're looking to fly fish around Stanley Idaho, look no further than White Cloud Rafting Adventures / Headwater Fly Fishing. My buddies and I had the greatest day fishing a half day from rafts on the Salmon river with Robert & Sam. Both guides were extremely knowledgable, funny, and professional. We caught countless fish and made memories that will last a life time. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. A truly incredible experience.

With many options available on the Salmon River, pick White Cloud! We inquired at others around town, but various roadblocks occurred. White Cloud happily scheduled us in. Not all local outfitters were friendly, and after chit chatting around town, it became clear that we were not alone in our experience. White cloud was extra friendly, had great guides, and reasonably priced souvenirs. The trip on the river was amazing. I took off one star for lack of time to get off the raft and enjoy the river. We did get about five minutes to jump off a giant boulder into the river. I’ve been on other trips that had twenty to thirty minutes built in for playing in the water and taking photos. But don’t get me wrong: This was a very enjoyable afternoon! Great for first-timers. We would book again if in the area!

This is the second year in a row that we have gone down the river with the awesome guides at White Cloud. Last year we went with Davis on the High Adventure trip. He was thorougly expert at taking us down those Class III and IV rapids. We felt safe the entire time while having such a great adventure. This year we took the half day trip with Al (Alexa) and Owen. Al was not only a pro on the river, but a great conversationalist. Our boat had the BEST conversations along the water. I will always be grateful for that time. These folks are experts in every way!
