I literally went in there for something they said online it had in stock, it was not there. That’s fine not an issue, but then the man pulled it up on his screen WHERE HE COULD ORDER IT! And then proceeded to tell me how to order it and then when I asked if he could just order it for me, since we are right here and he said he can’t and I had to do it myself. When I was at the staples in Toms River I went there to check for the same product because it also said it was online, and again it wasn’t but this place ordered for me no problem! So the man I had I wish I knew his name had long hair is very lazy and needs to be re trained.

Will never go to this Staples again. My thousands of dollars spent on printing a year will go to Ahern Printing in Sea Girt. Staples in Wall needs an overhaul of just about all the store employees. Awful, clueless and rude management (young girl with black hair) and lazy employees that just congregate at checkout and offer no assistance at all, and talk back to boot. It's basically a store run by know-nothing millennials that have ZERO idea of what customer service is. The Print and Copy center, on the other hand, is great! The employees in that section of the store are always helpful and friendly. However, recently, the Print and Copy center has been opening at 10am/11am, yet it's advertised online as being open @ 8am. Very frustrating.
If I could give zero stars I would. They have nothing in stock and do not answer the phone. Why bother having a store front.
I am appalled at the poor service from this Staples. I requested assist from three different employees, who were just standing at the check out area, chatting. Each employee acknowledged my request and after waiting for a total of 20 plus minutes, I left the establishment, due to the fact that I never received assistance. I have been a loyal, Staples customer for more than 20 years and I am very disappointed. I know that my experience does not reflect all of the Staples stores. This particular one needs someone to motivate their employees.
I had the same experience in staples this morning in SeaGirt NJ. Three employee's just standing around talking while I was waiting for service for 10 minutes. There were so few people shopping maybe that's why they're just lazy and uncaring now. Too bad because I'm a business owner and will not be shopping there ever again.
I am a frequent shopper at Staples both in the Sea Girt store and online. The store is completely under staffed and never try to call because you will be on hold for 15 to 20 minutes before you speak to someone. Honestly if it wasn't for convenience and really no other options I wouldn't shop here. I am being generous giving the store 2 stars!
Valerie in the print section was extremely helpful and patient with me.
